Virtual Rosh HaShanah Service

Virtual Yom Kippur Service

Join us online for an active and interactive exploration of the themes of Yom Kippur.  Join is in singing, listening, thinking and playing together as we reflect on this day of forgiveness.  Watch now.

Rosh HaShanah Playdate at Temple Sinai

Tuesday, September 7
Come together at Temple Sinai Rosh HaShanah afternoon and play together outdoors (fair weather), enjoy apples and honey, and hear the sounding of the shofar.

Rosh Hashanah Festival

Tuesday, September 7 at 3:00 pm
Join our youth education team at Rock Creek Park (Grove 6) for an outdoor (fair weather) celebration of Rosh Hashanah – festival style! There will be games, crafts, and fun, as well as an in-person sounding of the shofar together! This programming is most appropriate for children and their families in grades 2-6.

Tashlich

Tuesday, September 7 at 5:00 pm
Members of all ages are invited to gather at Rock Creek Park (Grove 6) for a brief Tashlich service.
No registration is required.

Yom Kippur Story Walk

Thursday, September 16 at 3:00 pm
Join our youth education team for a special family experience and reflection outdoors (fair weather) at Rock Creek Park (Grove 6). Through story, we will walk our way as families through the process of tshuva and engage in our own personal reflection on this sacred day. This programming is most appropriate for children and their families in grades 2-6.
