TSWRJ proudly presents Women of the Bible: Rebels with a Cause — an in-person Shabbaton with Rabbi Hannah Goldstein and Cantor Laura Croen.
Shabbat is a perfect time to participate in:
Meet and Greet with coffee, tea, & a nosh
Shabbat service – inspiring, intimate, imaginative
Picnic lunch – boxed lunches with food options
Program after lunch continues with teaching by Rabbi Goldstein about some lesser- known women of the Bible whose stories may surprise you. This will be followed by small discussion groups.
Tzedakah Project – Assemble gift bags for expecting and new parents in conjunction with Community of Hope’s screening of “Birthing Justice: Every Woman deserves a Beautiful Birth Story.” Items will be provided, but you may also sponsor bags at $25 each.
