The Temple Sinai WRJ Playreading group is an informal group of Sisterhood members who meet 3 or 4 times a year. We read plays that are by or about Jewish women and deal with Jewish themes. Our March event got rave reviews from those who attended.
Our play will be: A Moving Picture, by Jennie Berman Eng, winner of the 2020 Jewish Play Project Award and a resident of nearby Alexandria.
(Caution: A Moving Picture includes some disturbing stories of Holocaust atrocities; please look at the script before signing up and consider whether you are comfortable with it.)
Admission is free, but participants must be members of TSWRJ. Participants are welcome to bring a light food to share; coffee and cold drinks will be provided.
