When there is a sense of scarcity, how should we distribute PPE, medication and vaccines? How do we recognize personal autonomy while working toward herd immunity? Should people be required to be vaccinated to participate in society? We’ll consider the Jewish answers to these questions and discuss how some of these decisions are made out in our community.
Rabbi Hannah Goldstein will be in conversation with Bonnie Levin, a Temple Sinai member who leads the pharmacy enterprise across the MedStar health system as we discuss the unique challenges of treating, preventing and vaccinating against COVID-19.
Those who register by 2/15 will receive some optional reading.
NOTE: Please do not contact Bonnie directly about vaccine appointments. She will answer general questions about access to the vaccine as part of our discussion.
