The Threat of Annexation in the West Bank: Facts & Implications
August 25, 2020 @ 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm
When forming his new government, Prime Minister Netanyahu signed a coalition agreement allowing the government to introduce measures to annex large portions of the West Bank as of the beginning of July, with the approval of the Trump administration. There’s no knowing when PM Netanyahu may make a declaration of annexation, and J Street and its allies are doing their utmost to prevent such action from taking place.
Join Amos Gil, J Street’s Capital South Director, over Zoom to hear more of the facts and implications of the threat of the annexation. There will be ample time for Q & A.
Amos will explain what annexation could look like on the ground, what unilateral action could mean for Israelis and Palestinians, and the ways in which we in the US can respond to this threat.
This program is co-sponsored by Temple Sinai and J Street.
This program has been rescheduled from August 4. If you registered prior to the original date, you do not need to register again.
