Adult B’nei Mitzvah Alumni Service & Potluck Dinner in the Sukkah

Rabbi Emeritus Mindy Portnoy will once again join Cantor Laura Croen in leading the service and festivities. Your only assignment is to bring a dish for 8-10 people. As in past years, and given the large number of alumni, attendance is limited to the participants in the program.

Please RSVP and direct any questions to Lafe Solomon.

A Spirited Taste of DC in the Sukkah with TSMRJ
Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 pm
The Brotherhood will kick off 5783 with a special event in the sukkah, but this time with a DC focus. Alex Laufer, Co-founder and Head Distiller for Ivy City’s One Eight Distilling, will lead a tasting of their products — their District Made bourbon and rye, and a couple of their non-traditional Untitled whiskeys — and will talk about local craft distilling. This event will be free and open to all adult Temple Sinai members, 21 years and older. We plan to pair the whiskey tasting with Chinese food from Meiwah.

If you plan to attend, contact Howard Oppenheim (so we know how much whiskey and food we’ll need).
