High Holy Days

High Holy Days 5781/2020

All are invited to join us for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur on our virtual platform, Sinai5781.com!

Join Us From Anywhere

We are excited to gather for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur virtually on Sinai5781.com. Every service and program will be online and open to all — live and on demand so you can experience the holidays on your own schedule.

Watch a Zoom orientation to Sinai5781.com with Rabbis Roos and Goldstein and Executive Director Ellen Agler. They walked through the schedule of services, talked about how you’ll be able to connect and answered some member questions about this unique High Holy Days in a live Zoom meeting! Watch it here (passcode: X=1%jNRy)

Pre-K – 5th Grade Story a Day

Join your friends from Temple Sinai for “A Story a Day” in the month of Elul, as we prepare for the new year! Watch each day as we’ve listed them, or in any order as they interest you. Together, let’s use these wonderful stories to help us prepare for the new year. Check it out here!

1st-4th Grade Birthday Party for the World!

The world was created on Rosh HaShanah, so this year on Rosh HaShanah afternoon, September 19 at 3:00p, we’re having a virtual birthday party! We’ll share birthday wishes for the world, sing some songs, hear the shofar blast, and of course eat some cake! Learn more here and then join us on Zoom on Saturday, September 19 at 3:00p.

ZOOM Tashlich for Teens

Temple Sinai Teens will gather on Saturday, September 19 at 4:30p to reflect on the year with a ZOOM Tashlich, our customary atonement ritual performed during the High Holy Days. All 8th-12th grade teens  welcome. Register here. Once registered you will receive the Zoom link for the event as well as instructions on how we are getting you the necessary Tashlich tools!

If you have any questions about this program please contact Emily Halpern at ehalpern@templesinaidc.org.

We will be using the Gates of Repentance for all services except for the Children/Family, Yom Kippur Healing, and Yom Kippur Afternoon services.
