Rabbi Search Committee Update

March 4, 2020

Noah DiamondsteinWe are very excited to announce that Student Rabbi Noah Diamondstein has accepted an offer for the position of Assistant Rabbi.

He is expected to be ordained in May 2020, and, subject to formal confirmation by the Board and the Temple Sinai community, is expected to start in July 2020.

We interviewed a number of candidates and brought three excellent finalists to the temple. In the end, Noah impressed us with his enthusiasm, knowledge, openness to learning and thoughtfulness. He is a musician in addition to being a rabbinical student. He and his wife Marnie are expecting their first child this Spring and we welcome their family into our community.

We will be providing more information about Noah in the coming weeks, but you may read more about him on his website and here.

We expect to announce upcoming welcoming events, as well as celebrations for Rabbi Rosenwasser as he embarks on the next stage of his rabbinic career.
